BROWNIE LAYER

• 1/2 cup butter melted
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla essence
• 2 eggs
• 2/3 cup flour
• 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt

COOKIE LAYER

• 1 Butter stick(1/2 cup)
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup + 2 tbsp flour
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1 cup chocolate chip

Instructions

First prepare brownie layer

1. seive flour , baking powder coco powder and salt
2. To the melted butter add sugar, beat well until sugar is dissolved then add eggs , vanilla essence .,seived flour mix it well then add to the greased pan .keep aside then move to prepare cookie.

PREPARE COOKIE LAYER

1. Cream butter and sugar then add vanilla and eggs cream again until smooth.
2. Next stir in the flour , baking soda ,salt , chocolate chips give it a good mix.
3. Then scatter this batter on top of the brownie layer and bake @180c for 30 -35 minutes .
4. you can always prepare cookie batter first keep in refrigerator then prepare the brownie layer...that can make the cookie more chewy...
